PROTEX 55

Single-sided Paper with Base Natural Latex Adhesive

PROTEX 55 Protective Paper is a high-end 5 mil natural latex saturated paper, designed for pre-spacing and application of large or small surface area decals. The tack level of the product gives proper adhesion as needed to lift the connected film from its release liner, in registration, for application to a substrate. It is also used on punched stencil material (Sharpline 200) to hold letters in place for transporting and application. It may also be applied directly to bare aluminum, stainless steel or painted surfaces to protect from scratches.

PROTEX 55 is used on various surfaces for decal application. Tack level provides a proper lift to vinyl films from the liner. PROTEX 55 can be applied to bare aluminum, stainless steel and painted surfaces for scratch protection during manufacturing and installation.

This product is not intended for fly-away applications.
